The Bosch Hockenheim Historic – The Jim Clark Revival will be postponed until late summer/fall: The popular classic car event, which attracts nearly 20,000 visitors to the Hockenheimring each year, was originally scheduled for the weekend of May 7 to 9, 2021, but as it is now becoming clear, the still serious situation of the Corona pandemic will not allow it to be held in the first half of the year.

Short-term adaptations to the infection situation and the associated official requirements make timely planning impossible from both an organisational and economic point of view for organisers, teams and participants. The admission of visitors seems unlikely after the current developments and partly strict travel restrictions would have a considerable negative influence on the international starting field at the scheduled date.

These serious circumstances led to our decision to move the event to late summer/fall 2021. The coordination regarding an adequate alternative date is already in full swing.

Due to the rescheduled date, there may be changes to the programme. However, we are working to secure the announced race series for the new date and will inform accordingly.

Our greatest endeavour as organisers is to ensure that the event takes place within a responsible, safe framework. That this is possible was shown by a series of events that took place in the Motodrom in autumn 2020, some of which were open to the public. The corresponding safety and hygiene concepts are available to us. We are therefore sure that we will be able to hold the event at a high level, even under certain conditions, and that fans and participants can look forward to a motorsports highlight.

We would like to thank all our partners for their commitment in this difficult situation for everyone. We also look forward to the 2021 event of the Bosch Hockenheim Historic with anticipation and wish all the best until then!
