Further highlights at the Hockenheimring
After the strong performance of the VFV GLPpro at the Porsche Club Days, further highlights await the participants of the historical racing series at the traditional race track in Hockenheim. For the first time, the VFV GLPpro will take part in the Bosch Hockenheim Historic – the Jim Clark Revival from 27 to 29 August 2021. The traditional event is held annually in honor of the Scottish Formula 1 World Champion Jim Clark, who died in a tragic accident in a Formula 2 race at Hockenheim on April 7, 1968. In addition to the VFV GLPpro, another ten classic racing series will be represented at the start. According to the current status, spectators are again admitted to the event.
And it is time for the next traditional event from September 10-12, when the 44th VFV Hockenheim Classics will take place. The event will be held together with the VFV DHM.
“I would never have dreamed of participating in the Bosch Hockenheim Historic at the beginning of the year. The fact that we are nevertheless able to take part in such a prestigious event shows the importance of the VFV-GLPpro in historic motorsport – and that makes me thoroughly proud. With the Hockenheim Classics, the next highlight of the season is on the calendar just two weeks after the Jim Clark Revival. Here, we will once again be driving two classification races, and there will also be a long distance race for the touring cars and GT vehicles, depending on the response, so there will be plenty of driving time for everyone,” says Felix Vaillant, looking forward to the upcoming events.
