The “Bosch Hockenheim Historic – Jim Clark Revival” old-timer event will enthral visitors not just because of the top class races and demonstration runs to be held on the course, but also because of the comprehensive series of events dedicated to the memory of one of Scotland’s former Formula 1 world champions, Jim Clark. There will be large automobile club areas, autograph sessions and a special Jim Clark exhibition to wow the fans, not to mention free access to the paddock where they can soak up the historic atmosphere as they enjoy a close-up view of the teams going about their preparations.
We want every visitor to do their bit to bring the good old days back to life. Why not dress up in the style of the golden 1920s or follow the more diverse fashions of the 1960s? Whatever you choose, the organisers would be delighted to see as many motor sport fans as possible dressed in the style of days gone by.
Visitors who come along to the event in costume can have souvenir photos taken of themselves in a trailer located in the paddock. The best photo will be chosen via a Facebook competition after the event. The winner can look forward to two weekend tickets for Bosch Hockenheim Historic 2017 with an upgrade to the VIP area.
