•    Varied, unique and with nostalgic charm – the supporting programme
•    Celebrity guests, free access to paddock/pits for spectators
•    Exclusive presentation of Scuderia Serenissima racing cars
•    The Moped Garage is celebrating its ten-year anniversary – and throwing a party on the pit roof

Visitors can expect a unique supporting programme at the “Bosch Hockenheim Historic” from 21 to 23 April around the Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg – with an exciting journey through many decades of motor racing history. The pits, paddock and even the pit roof breathe history – and are freely accessible. On the Grand Prix circuit, ten different historic racing series ensure a fascinating spectacle, with Formula One racing cars from all epochs, cult cars of the CanAm Cup, Formula 3 Monopostos or beautiful Alfa Romeo touring cars.

Celebrity guests are happy to give autographs – and no doubt also have time for a chat. This year we welcome: Ellen Lohr, Michael Bartels, Jochen Mass, Marco Werner and Martin Donnelly. Autograph hunters can find the celebrities at midday on Saturday and/or Sunday at the Red Cafebar in the paddock.

Exclusive presentation of Scuderia Serenissima racing cars
After more than 50 years, they’re driving together on a Grand Prix circuit again: the Serenissima M1AF Formula 1 and its GT brother 308 Jet Competizione. This is true exclusivity for the spectators. Scuderia Serenissima, founded in Venice in the 1960s, initially used various brands in racing (Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, etc.). They then ventured into building their own engines and vehicles using innovative technology. The Serenissima M1AF Formula 1 first entered the racing circuit in 1967. In pit 26, interested parties can find both gems as well as further cars from Scuderia.

Historical Exhibitions, Special Jim Clark Tour
Exhibitions are traditionally part of the supporting programme, but vary each year – and thus remain special treats, even for regular visitors. Small but mighty: the exhibition for the jubilee “85 years Hockenheimring” – with four racing cars of different categories that created a sensation in Hockenheim: a Benetton Ford from Michael Schumacher and a Lotus Formula 2 from 1971. Because Hockenheim was the home of F2! Maserati and Porsche are also exhibiting historic racers.

The Swiss couple who organise the Jim Clark exhibition (Congress Pavilion), which is traditional yet continuously enriched with new objects, are driven by their love of detail. During the special tour “Auf den Spuren Jim Clarks” (On the tracks of Jim Clark), participants can experience a slightly different view of the Hockenheimring and the history of the two-time Formula One World Champion, who was killed in an accident at the Hockenheimring in 1968. Starting at the Motorsport Museum (Saturday, 11:00), the tour focusing on the Lotus superstar ends with a visit to the Jim Clark Memorial at the race track. Tickets cost 10 Euro for adults, 6.50 Euro for young people up to 16 years.

Pit roof experience – programme for the whole family
Ultimate nostalgia on the pit roof: Here the historic annual fair celebrates its première, with a children’s carousel, coconut shy and confectionery stand. Let the exhibitors warm your heart with the style of days gone by – from clothing to furniture to the pinned-up hairdo. Moped races also provide action, fun and excitement, as the Moped Garage presents a special exhibition on the theme of moped racing and an autograph session with Hans Georg Anscheidt. And on Saturday evening, the day’s winners are presented with their awards on the pit roof and there is a big party featuring the cover band “Me and the Heat”, a fire artist and performances by the Army Girl dance group in 1950s style. The “Moped Garage” is celebrating its ten-year anniversary. All ticket holders are welcome.
