Boss GP
The name “BOSS” stands for Big Open Single Seater, which means that this series is for the big and high HP cars, from the legendary 1980s and 1990s to today. It is only here that motorsport fans have the rare and exclusive chance to see these spectacular cars from up close and in action when they are competing for points on the race track. Where else are you able to see a Formula 1 Jaguar and the only remaining Panoz Champcar from the spectacular former US racing series which remains the only car of his kind still used in races? Where else can you take a picture with Michael Schumacher‘s original Benetton, have a look at legendary F1 from Arrows, Jordan and Tyrell and even a Formula 1 Ferrari has been part of the races? In addition, there are GP2 racers, which are the immediate precursor of the Formula 1, and the fast and ultramodern cars of the Renault and Nissa World Series as well as the Formula 3000. And of course, you can always choose to just watch the teams prepare for the start and listen to the unparalleled engine sounds. The racers’ performance is still breathtaking, the rolling starts extremely loud, the races fast, furious and certainly nostalgic. Next to the Fomula 1 racers built as late as 2006, the “Boss GP” series is also open for Champcar, Indycar, GP2, Renault and Nissan World Series and Formula 3000 cars of all years. The cars will be split into three classes. The “Open” class includes Formula 1 racers built in the years between 1992 to 2006, in terms of cubic capacity and modifications anything goes - there’s no limit. The “Formula” class is made up of GP2 car, Champcar and Indycar from 1992 to today, the cubic capacity can be up to 4.0l and all modifications are permitted. In turn, the “Masters” class includes all F and Indycar vehicles up to the year of manufacture in 1991 as well as Formula 200 and Renault / Nissan V6 World Series vehicles. The cubic capacity for this class is 3.6l (exception: Formula 5000) and modifications are permitted, too.
The GP2‘s robust 8-cylinder sound, Champcar, Indycar and Formula 3000 racers, the also exciting sounding 6-cylinder units belonging to cars of the Renault and Nissan World Series and the breathtaking and unbelievably engine runaways of 8-, 10- and 12-cylinder Formula 1 engines „scream“ in the true sense of the word. In addition, there are the turbo era vehicles which bring back the snarling sound of the race tracks and offer motorsport full of action and speed.
Let’s be excited for what we can expect and simply enjoy the priceless sound and speed of these fascinating cars!
