The BOSCH Hockenheim Historic – the Jim Clark Revival from 10-12 April, 2015 will be the mecca for all collectors’ vehicles – without any limits on the year of manufacture. We welcome automobile clubs, interest groups and round tables dedicated to classic cars, modern classics and sports cars of all model years. Many new activities make the meeting place for the season’s opening even more attractive.

As a special treat, registered participants get to drive guided laps on the circuit twice this year and can thus experience legendary sections such as the Sachs curve first hand: on Saturday at lunch time and again in the evening once the official racing is over. Already in the past years, the club laps have proved to be among the most emotional moments of the entire weekend in memory of Jim Clark. The chance to drive their cars on the rack track, on which the exceptional racing driver was killed in an accident on April 7, 1968, is a big moment for participants.

There are also plenty of trophies for the clubs with the most vehicles, the most beautiful cars of the car make clubs as well as for the participants who had the longest journey to the event. And here, too, the winners become part of the event with the 14 racing categories, uniform laps and presentations. The victory ceremony will take place on Sunday on the official grandstand at the pre-race area, between the awarding of the racing classes.

There are few race car drivers for whom such an elaborate memorial has been set up as for Jim Clark. The organiser therefore gives the car make club participants the opportunity to visit the accident site of the two-time world champion together on Saturday afternoon – in memory of the Scot, but also in memory of the wild times for racers when the racetrack safety standards were still a far cry from what they are today.

Last but not least, Allianz Deutschland AG will inform participants about its extensive insurance portfolio and be available to offer help and advice on all insurance-related matters.

The car make club areas will set up again in the Mercedes grandstand section. The transfer to the paddock will take place throughout the day. You can now register for the car make club area online via the website or on-site at the following times:

Friday, April 10, 2015 from 3pm to 6pm, Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 8am to 4:30pm and Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 8am to 3pm.
